Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join our team. You will report into the Senior Finance Business Partner.

The primary focus of this role is to provide timely and accurate data/information to the Senior Finance Business Partner, Director or Operations’ and Sales Directors relating to all key data points across the Business & Industry and Education & Healthcare sectors.

You will also have a key role to play assisting the Operations Directors produce financial models to ensure successful retention of key business.

A day in the life of a Finance Analyst:
  • Liaising with the sector Directors of Ops to produce financial models used for key retention business.
  • Lead the weekly flash process for the sectors in terms of data collation and summarisation
  • Lead the key metrics process for the sectors in terms of data collation and commentary as to meaning (ATV/SPC/Penetration)
  • Develop a strong understanding of the financial systems and processes to ensure things are done quickly and efficiently – challenge the status quo to improve process
  • Prepare key balance sheet reconciliations for the line of business and ensure integrity of the balance sheet – act as the lead in ensuring Blackline process is followed
  • Support the Senior Finance Business Partner and operational leadership to prepare, consolidate and summarise the Annual Operating Plan
  • Engages the business in supporting the financial agenda and ensures the teams understanding of the key processes
  • Can support the operational teams to develop financial understanding and processes

You'll be set up for success if you have:

  • Extensive experience of financial systems & Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel
  • Willingness to immediately attend training on writing Macros (paid for by Aramark)
  • A keen attention to detail and able to spot and prevent errors before they become issues
  • Experience of working remotely with limited supervision to deliver planned outcomes
