Catering Assistant

Opportunity for an exceptional candidate to be a Catering Assistant, shaping a brand new Ark secondary school in Barnet

Ark Pioneer Academy opened its doors to our brand new building in Barnet in September 2019 and welcomed in our first year 7. By the time our eldest reach year 13, we’ll have over a thousand pupils. We will deliver a standard of education matching the very best schools in the country. Our vision is that every pupil leaves Ark Pioneer with real options, be it embarking on the university course of their choice or starting out in their chosen career.

As a Catering Assistant, you will be an integral part of ensuring the delivery of a consistent, high-quality meal service. You will assist with all aspects of food preparation, food service, kitchen and canteen hygiene and other duties associated with food service operations.

The ideal candidate will

• Have experience working in a busy kitchen or similar environment
• Maintain a professional outlook, be able to multi-task and meet all deadlines set
• Share the Ark Pioneer vision and be aligned with the six pillars underpinning it
