JOB OVERVIEW



We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Paralegal with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and good knowledge of contract law and experience with contract negotiation.



Working as a Paralegal you will work alongside the company's General Counsel to provide legal support to the business.



As a Paralegal you will primarily assist with client and vendor contract negotiations, as well as legal operations, dispute resolution, Co Sec tasks, compliance and general legal queries.

DUTIES



Your duties as a Paralegal will include:

Draft and review a variety of legal documents, including client contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and vendor agreements



Negotiate legal and commercial terms with external counterparties



Assist with managing the Company’s contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform (Ironclad) and other legal tech



Conduct legal research on various issues, such as privacy laws, data protection and provide recommendations



Assist with the preparation and revision of company policies and procedures



Assist the General Counsel with dispute resolution and insurance matters



Help with company secretarial matters including filings and board minutes



Assist with data protection matters, including the drafting and review of data processing agreements



Liaise with external legal advisors and preparing legal reports and presentations for stakeholders



Keep abreast of relevant laws and regulations affecting the workplace health and wider healthcare industries and provide guidance to stakeholders as required



Work collaboratively with other teams in the company to provide legal support as needed



Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external



Maintain accurate records of all legal documents, agreements, and policies



CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS



Previous experience as a paralegal or similar role



A degree in law or a relevant legal qualification



Knowledge of contract law and experience with contract negotiation



Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively



Knowledge of data protection and privacy laws is preferred



Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills



Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with varied internal and external stakeholders



Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects



Ability to use web based apps (such as Ironclad) with introductory training



Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
