£10.00 - £17.00 per hour

Our client is currently recruiting Temporary Support Workers and HCAs for their busy residential home near Castlepoint. You will be working with a professional and friendly team, supporting people who have varying needs as a result of physical and long-term neurological conditions including Cerebral Palsy, Huntington's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Spina Bifida, Hydrocephalus and Stroke.

• Using the training provided, aid the residents through all aspect of life including mealtimes, bathing and day to day activities.
• By getting to know the residents you will be able to help write their care plans and understand when risk assessments may be needed.
• Be there to assist the service users in daily activities, social interactions, and outings either in a group setting or on a 121 basis.
• Assist the service users with their health needs as required, which may include administering medication and attending medical appointments.
• Keep daily paperwork up to date to ensure we have captured everything that has happened in the day

• To follow guidelines to support service users to make decisions and promote their independence.
• To support residents to maintain their rights, dignity, privacy and respect.
• To work flexibly to meet resident's needs, ensuring support is provided, as required. Support and further clarification will be provided by the management team where a change outside of usual day-to-day support may be necessary.
