Wildlife Park Assistant
Job descriptionWe are looking for proactive, and energetic facilities operatives to join us here at our beautiful Wildlife Park, on the river Thames.
Reporting to the Facilities Supervisor you will be working as part of a team to ensure that we achieve the highest presentation standards in our park for our visitors.
Duties include:
- Carrying out the daily checks as per the Daily Check Sheet
- Ensuring all areas are kept clean and safe for our visitors
- Ensuring the Park is kept free from litter
- Emptying bins as required
- Keeping the toilets clean and stocked throughout the day
- Carrying out visual checks of play areas, ensuring they are tidy and presentable at all times
- Filling hand sanitiser dispensers
- Manage the queue for the train ride.
- Clean the train carriages between rides.
- Help park cars during busy times.
- Clean the paddling pool and monitor numbers in the pool.
- Report faults and breakages to the maintenance team.
- Help other staff with stocking the shop or ticket office.
- Any other duties needed to keep the park running smoothly for our visitors
Person Specification:
Highly motivated with a keen eye for detail
Practical and methodical
Be able to follow direction and adhere to protocols and procedures.
Be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
You will need to be physically fit due to the nature of the role.
Full UK driving license preferred.
