Industrial Sewing Machinist

We are a successful and established Cornish online retailer, considered the leading manufacturer of protective clothing for the rapidly growing Beekeeping sector. This small, dynamic family run business is looking for a dedicated, hardworking, enthusiastic and flexible person to join our freelance team. Ideally, the candidate needs to be located within a 50 mile radius of Falmouth, Cornwall, UK.

We are seeking an experienced highly skilled Sewing Machinist, preferably factory trained to produce a range of high quality beekeeping protective apparel which is sold to a global market.

Must be proficient in use of industrial five-thread overlock and flatbed sewing machines with good attention to detail. Own machines preferred but can supply.

Some sampling may be required when developing new items of protective clothing.

Our high profile customers include the Kings Beekeeper, Gardeners World's Month Don, the Countryfile Team, Megan McCubbin, the Queen's Beekeepers, CBBC's presenters and families on Show Me The Honey series and Gordon, Gino and Fred from the Greek Road Trip.

Job Type: Freelance

Salary: £9.50-£13.20 per hour
