An exciting opportunity for an experienced Events Operations Manager to join a well-known and established Media and Events business with offices in South West London. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing all aspects of events, including multiple exhibition and conference projects, ensuring they are delivered to the highest possible standard.

Responsibilities:


  • Plan, execute and manage all aspects of multiple exhibitions and conferences, from conception through to completion.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and event stakeholders.

  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure revenue targets are met.

  • Manage budgets and negotiate contracts to ensure maximum profitability.

  • Ensure that all events run smoothly and are executed to the highest standard.

  • Identify and mitigate any potential event risks or issues.

  • Continuously review and improve event operations processes and procedures.


Requirements:


  • Minimum 4 years of experience in events operations management, preferably in a media or events business.

  • Demonstrable experience in event planning and management, including budgeting and contract negotiation.

  • Strong leadership and management skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple exhibitions and conferences simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours in the lead up to events


Package for the Events Operations Manager:


  • Salary: £40,000-£45,000 per annum plus 10% bonus

Hybrid working: The successful candidate will be expected to work four days a week in the office and have the flexibility to work from home on the fifth day. Offices are in South West London.
