Role Overview & Specifications

Fibrelay are looking for an experienced Fibre Splicer to join them in Eastbourne. As a Fibre Splicer you will be delivering a number of fibre optic networks for our clients. You will be working as a part of a team or individually as the job requires.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out site specific Risk Assessments
  • Working to project specific drawings and schematics
  • Troubleshooting problems.
  • Provide details to the Build Project Manager to support weekly reporting on progress, risks, and review Lessons learnt/Best Practice
You will need:
  • NRSWA Unit 2
  • SA001 Safety Overhead, SA002 Safety Underground
  • Proven work experience as a Splicer.
  • Previous experience of working with EXFO IOLM/FIP and OTDR Testing.
  • Ability to Produce/Summarise fibre test reports.
