Overseas Sponsorship Role The Senior Care Worker will routinely oversee and monitor care workers, care assistants and home carers. They will attend to the personal needs and comforts of the elderly and young people and the infirm with care and support needs of service users within supported living, residential care establishments, day care establishments or in their own homes. They will assist and enable service users to dress, undress, wash, use the toilet and bathe, serve meals to service users at table or in bed, assists with feeding if required, generally assists with service users overall comfort and well-being, help with daily activities such as letter writing, paying bills, collecting benefits, undertakes light cleaning and domestic duties including meal preparation as required, monitors service users conditions by taking temperature, pulse, respiration and weight, and contributes to record keeping and liaise with professional staff in carrying out care plans.

Salary: £26,500.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Reading, Berkshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • providing care: 2 years (preferred)
  • supervisory: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
  • NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
