IS Infrastructure Analyst

Centrica Storage Limited (CSL), is looking for an IS Infrastructure Analyst.

• Working in a small team, reporting to the IS Infrastructure Manager
• Provide technical expertise in the evaluation, design and implementation of infrastructure projects including provisioning of required environments
• Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and 2nd line support of infrastructure services
• Provide technical delivery to project teams and business as usual teams to ensure secure and robust operational IS services
• Create and enforces effective measures to safeguard IS services and assists with the identification and resolution of security vulnerabilities in applications and infrastructure
• Assess the technical security aspects of the design, development and implementation of small IS changes and IS projects and ensure that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices are correctly applied
• Support the planning and delivery of desktop, server and application patches, maintenance releases and major product enhancement releases to ensure the security of CSL IT systems
• Ensure services meet agreed SLAs and drive service improvements
• Assist with project spend and budget forecasting
• Actively promote and encourage team working across IS, both within CSL and the wider Centrica IS teams

Hybrid working - Office based at Woodland House, Hessle, Hull / Home working option a number of days per week)

• 
  Team player, can proactively contribute to the team’s objectives
• 
  Experience of Microsoft technologies, including Windows 10, Windows Server 2016/19, Active Directory, Group Policy and O365
• 
  Experience supporting IT network technologies and best practices
• 
  Familiarisation/experience of cloud computing technologies such as Microsoft Azure
• 
  Awareness of Information Security legislation, regulation and good practice, such as Data Protection Act, GDPR, ISO 27001
• 
  Experience of providing 2nd line support
• 
  Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• 
  Ability to articulate technical detail to a non-technical audience
• 
  Successful candidate will be required to undertake the Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) certification, which is a requirement for offshore work
