Assistant Management Accountant – Scunthorpe – Up to £27,000 – Hybrid working




Chase & Holland are excited to be working with a large distribution business to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team. Our client are a forward thinking and innovative business with an excellent reputation. This is a newly created role due to business growth. The successful candidate will work closely with the Management Accountant to produce the management accounts for multiple sites.

Hours: 9am-5pm


Assistant Management Accountant Responsibilities:

• 
  Preparation and review of Balance Sheet of multiple sites.
• 
  Monthly preparation and review of P&L, budgets and forecast
• 
  Produce budgets and forecasts for multiple sites
• 
  Prepare and review of weekly invoicing forecast/cash flow forecasting
• 
  Analysis of month end variance to profit estimates and Forecast/Budget
• 
  Preparation of Depot portfolio Forecasts and Budget
• 
  Maintain and review open book cost statements
• 
  Commercial analysis and reporting to assist with customer negotiations
• 
  Business partnering with Depot Managers through regular interaction including site visits
• 
  Supporting with ad-hoc reporting including wage analysis

Required Skills & Experience:

• 
  Strong finance experience working in a varied accounts role
• 
  Excellent organisational skills
• 
  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• 
  Have great attention to detail
• 
  Full UK driving licence
