Accounts Payable Assistant

Company Description

Chubb now has an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team in Blackburn. The main goal of the role is to take full ownership of allocated Vendors, and provide a complete end-to-end process for payment of those supplier invoices.

Job Description

• 
  Matching invoices against the relevant purchase order
• 
  Reconciliation of supplier statements
• 
  Matching intercompany invoices from Chubb entities
• 
  Establish and maintain a good working relationship with the Accounts Payable Offshore Shared Services team
• 
  Deal with queries and escalations from the Offshore team
• 
  Process payment runs in accordance with the agreed payments cycle
• 
  Process manual payments

Qualifications

• 
  Have experience of accounts processing
• 
  Be experienced in working to set procedures in a logical and systematic manner with high volumes of administration
• 
  Have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel – using and creating spreadsheets including look up tables and pivot tables
• 
  Be a team player with the ability to work on your own initiative
• 
  Be adaptable with a flexible approach
• 
  Be customer focused with a friendly, positive and helpful manner
