We are looking for a Global Content Alliances Associate (Researcher and Account Developer) to join our Academia and Government – Global Content Alliances team. This role will be hybrid working in our London or Cambridge office. This role will report to the Manager, Global Content Alliances who manages a team of 2. This is an amazing opportunity to develop your research and analysis skills. We have great experience in account management, and we would love to speak with you if you have experience in qualitative or quantitative analysis
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field
Proficiency in written and spoken English
At least 12 months experience in qualitative or quantitative analysis
At least 12 months experience in a customer facing role
It would be great if you also had . . .
High levels of personal initiative and motivation
Strong detail-orientation and organization skills
Experience in the higher education, education technology or publishing industries
Proficiency in another European language
Proven experience in MS office suite
What will you be doing in this role?
Researching. Carry out research to meet targeted product requirements, for example around historical archives and orphan works
Supporting. Support Account Management of our key publisher partnerships
Establishing. Establish effective working relationships with content providers, publishers, and partners in the information industry
Securing. Secure content agreements to meet product goals and manage the permissions request process
Working. Work closely with Product Management, Legal, and other relevant departments in the business to determine copyright status
Monitoring. Monitor the information industry to maintain an understanding of the industry players, their strengths, strategies, market orientation and direction

Hours of Work
The teams you work with are primarily located in EMEA, and you may work with teams internationally in APAC and the US. This is a full-time permanent role.
