The Deloitte Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) practice continues to grow from strength to strength, with the team applying our latest thinking in creating the next generation of ERM solutions that deliver value for our clients. Positioned within our broader Reputation, Crisis and Resilience practice, our ERM team supports the largest global organisations solve their ERM challenges, developing bespoke, fit for purpose ERM approaches which reflect current needs and future ambition.
Our team members operate at a global level within the Deloitte ERM Global Centre of Excellence located in the UK. There is plenty to learn, space to develop and make a real contribution in helping shape the future direction of Enterprise Risk Management, with an opportunity to participate in a wide range of assignments.

Connect to your opportunityResponsibilities for this role include:
Providing Enterprise Risk Management advice and senior counsel to clients. This includes leading Strategic Risk discussions with the C-Suite, transforming clients’ ERM Frameworks and ‘deep-diving’ key risks
Owning portfolio of clients to either maintain and expand existing relationships, or work with the firm's networks to open up new relationships and identify opportunities.
Using a broad range of expertise across the risk lifecycle to articulate, sell and deliver different Risk, Reputation, Resilience, Crisis and Controls propositions to our target clients
Developing internal and external networks to understand emerging client issues and needs
Development of new products and services to support our Enterprise Risk Management offering
Leading complex client engagements and delivery, including responsibility for contracts, budgets and junior team members. Typical engagements include supporting clients establish and embed risk appetite frameworks and approaches to emerging risks
Executing the work with the highest quality and in a timely manner
Leading internal projects in support of Enterprise Risk Management and wider team business objectives
Developing thought leadership activities to establish market presence
Essential Skills
Relevant work experience in Enterprise Risk Management with market facing ERM involvement
Excellent consultative skills including analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
A good depth of understanding of organisational risk issues
Good understanding of complex and evolving business environments to identify and assess relevant risks and their potential impact on the enterprise
Strong communication, presentation, business writing and professional skills, including the ability to liaise with strategic and operational leaders at our clients.
A track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with external and internal senior stakeholders
Collaborative, proactive and result & detail-oriented attitude
Proven ability to build inclusive and collaborative teams including a commitment to upskilling, training and supporting junior colleagues
Desirable Skills
Relevant professional qualification (e.g. IRM, ACCA or other risk or business qualification)
An understanding of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm's commitment to creating a more inclusive culture
Knowledge and experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI)
Business development experience through regular client interactions, issuing proposals, building relationships with internal colleagues across different teams and geographies and responding to RFPs.
Knowledge of one or two key industry sectors with insight on trends and themes
Professional services experience an advantage

We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints. This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm.
