Hours: 37 hours a week including evenings, weekends and bank holidays

Location: Derby Arena

We are looking for an experienced gym instructor to join our team at our busy and demanding multi-functional leisure and events Arena.
The post is part of team that always aim to deliver brilliant customer service to all our users.

Excellent communication is a must as well as having a passion for supporting our members through their fitness journey to achieve better health and wellbeing outcomes.

You should possess a minimum level 2 fitness instructor qualification.

The closing date for this vacancy is at midnight on 30th April. Any application forms received after the closing date will not be accepted.

Interviews will be held week commencing 8th May 2023.

As part of our safer recruitment checks the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.

All employees will normally be appointed to the minimum of the grade for the job. For reasons connected with a particular need of the Council it may be appropriate, subject to approval, to appoint to a higher point in the pay grade.
