Job description

A well-respected hardware company based in Birmingham, near the city's thriving center, is on the hunt for a Content Executive to join their team, working in conjunction with the Head of SEO and the Head of eCommerce to write compelling content across their website.



The right candidate will be diligent and concise with their copy and will have experience writing product descriptions and web content, preferably for an ecommerce based company, with a focus on on-page SEO



Location: Birmingham (hybrid working 3 days in office)



Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

• The ability to create and develop content for the company's existing audience, whilst also creating engaging content to attract new website users


• 
  Happy to work collaboratively with the Product team to enrich data and improve the Search Engine Rankings of the website


• 
  At least two years of experience in writing SEO optimised content for ecommerce companies


• 
  Confident when writing engaging blog posts for the company website, drawing on market research to keep them engaging and fresh


• 
  A team player, happy to work with all levels of the business, including product managers, the Head of SEO, and the Head of eCommerce


• 
  Some knowledge of the hardware industry is preferred but not necessary


• 
  Experience with necessary software including Google Analytics
