Head of Technology
Manchester/Hybrid
85-95K (DOE)
Digital Waffle is working together with a creative sports company, who are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Technology to lead their technical team and drive innovation for the company. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement technology strategies to support business goals
Manage and mentor a team of technology professionals
Drive innovation and assess new technologies to identify potential benefits for the company
Oversee technology projects from conception to delivery
Develop and manage technology budgets and timelines
Collaborate with other departments to integrate technology solutions into business processes
Ensure technology infrastructure is secure, reliable, and scalable
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Head of Technology or similar leadership role
Strong technical knowledge and experience with various technologies
Excellent project management skills
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Experience with technology budgeting and vendor management
