Position Overview:
The Director, ProductΒ MarketingΒ will own the end-to-endΒ go-to-market strategy for Diligent Boards, driving positioning, messaging, product launches, market intelligence, sales enablement, pricing and packaging, and customer adoption across key segments and regions.Β
We are looking for aΒ strategic B2B SaaS product marketer withΒ strongΒ technical aptitudeΒ who can translate complex technology into compelling customer value. The ideal candidate has experience in aΒ SAASΒ technology company.Β Exposure toΒ product-led growth (PLG)Β is highly valuable.Β
You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, AI/Data, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Enablement, Finance, and senior leadership toΒ identifyΒ market opportunities, influence product strategy, and bring differentiated technology solutions to market.Β
This is a high-impact role requiring someone who can move seamlessly betweenΒ technical product detail, customer insights, commercial strategy, and compelling storytelling.Β

Key Responsibilities:
Go-to-Market & Product StrategyΒ
- Own end-to-end GTM strategies for Diligent Boards across key customer segments and regions.Β
- Develop differentiated positioning, messaging, value propositions, and launch strategies based on customer, market, and competitive insights.Β
- Partner with Product and Engineering to understand product roadmaps, technical capabilities, integrations, data, AI functionality, and translate these into compelling customer benefits.Β
- IdentifyΒ opportunities to improveΒ product-marketΒ fit, adoption, expansion, and revenue growth.Β
AI & Technical Product MarketingΒ
- Develop GTM strategies forΒ AI-powered products and capabilities, translating AI/GenAI functionality into clear business value and differentiated market positioning.Β
- Build sufficient technical depthΒ to crediblyΒ understandΒ and communicate complex SaaS technologies, including APIs, integrations, data, automation, security, and AI capabilities.Β
- Partner with technical product and engineering teams to ensureΒ accurateΒ and compelling communication of product capabilities.Β
Market & Customer InsightsΒ
- Develop deep understanding of ourΒ ICP, personas, buying committees, customer journeys, TAM, competitive landscape, and market trends.Β
- Lead Voice of Customer and market research initiatives and translate insights into actionable GTM and product recommendations.Β
- IdentifyΒ opportunities acrossΒ SMB and mid-market segments, including digital and product-led growth motions.Β
Sales Enablement & Commercial ExecutionΒ
- Equip Sales, Pre-Sales, Customer Success, and Enablement teams with compelling product narratives, competitive intelligence, technical content, battlecards, and other sales tools.Β
- Partner with Marketing and Sales on campaigns that generate demand and accelerateΒ pipelineΒ and revenue.Β
- Support pricing, packaging, segmentation, and monetization strategies in partnership with Product, Finance, and Sales.Β
Measurement & OptimizationΒ
- Establish KPIs to measure product marketing impact acrossΒ pipeline, conversion, product adoption, expansion, and revenue.Β
- Use quantitative and qualitative insights to continuouslyΒ optimizeΒ GTM strategies, positioning, messaging, launches, and campaigns.Β

Required Experience/Skills:
- 8+ years of B2B SaaS/product marketing experience, withΒ significant experienceΒ in a technology company.Β
- 5+ years in product marketing or technical product marketing, withΒ demonstratedΒ ownership of end-to-end GTM strategies.Β
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and simplify complexΒ SaaS, APIs, integrations, data, automation, and AI/GenAI technologies.Β
- Demonstrated experience developingΒ AI/GenAI go-to-market strategiesΒ or marketing AI-enabled products/features.Β
- Experience marketing toΒ SMB and/or mid-market customers, with an understanding of differentiated buying journeys and GTM motions.Β
- Strong product marketing fundamentals across positioning, messaging, launches, competitive intelligence, customer insights, and sales enablement.Β
- Experience working closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and senior leadership.Β
- Strong analytical skills and ability to turn market and customer data into actionable GTM strategies.Β
- Exceptional storytelling, written and verbal communication, and executive presence.Β
- Ability toΒ operateΒ autonomously, prioritize effectively, and influence cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.Β

Preferred Experience:
- Experience inΒ GRC, governance, risk, compliance, legal technology, cybersecurity, or enterprise SaaS.Β
- Experience withΒ product-led growth (PLG), self-service, digital acquisition, or usage/adoption-driven growth models.Β
- Experience marketing products to executives, General Counsels, Corporate Secretaries, legal professionals, CIO/IT leaders, security teams, or other complex buying committees.Β
- Experience with generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, automation, analytics, or other emerging technologies.Β
- Experience with pricing, packaging, monetization, and product-market fit initiatives.Β
