Setting Out Engineer
Fantastic opportunity for a Site Engineer/ Setting Out Engineer with experience in RC frame projects. The project is based in the central London. Must have previous experience with a reputable specialist contractor. The project is looking for an engineer to work on a full time basis - Monday to Friday
You will be working for the main contractor and supported by a reputable RC frame subcontractor and groundworkers.
Site Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out basic setting out
- Produce site drawings
- Setting-out the works in line with the construction programme
- Compiling and maintaining daily work record sheets and diaries.
- Checking the quality of work as required
- QA
- Liaison with site planners and architects
Site Engineer Key Requirements:
The Site / Setting Out Engineer would be expected to have experience and knowledge of the following disciplines:
- Relevant 3rd level qualifications in Engineering (Degree)
- CSCS Card
- Use of GPS &/or Robotics
- Maintaining quality records
- Setting out for frame works and drainage
- Undertaking survey work and as-built surveys
- Problem solving skills
