Junior Mechanical Design Engineer

What you’ll do:

Job Summary:

Assist New Product Design and Development activities coupled with the support of the maintenance and VAVE activities of fusing products. To be a strategic partner for the product roadmap driving vitality for the Bussmann and Switch Disconnect product lines. This also includes communication and close collaboration with the production plants and Product Line.

Job Responsibilities

Support New Product Design and Development activities in line with the PSP Product Roadmap

Development of FMEA’s, Engineering Drawings and control plans where necessary, including other necessary documentation relating to product development

Handling of test results, and the execution of the necessary design changes where necessary

Active contribution to BOC data related to Engineering

Perform product maintenance engineering activities including compliance topics

Support of all level 3 support, including the activities of the Bussmann Series Field Applications Engineering team.

Support resolution of urgent quality issues, including customer visits if necessary

Proactively learn basic principles and concepts of Product Design and Development

Qualifications

Education level required :Bachelor Degree Engineering (electrical/electronic / mechatronic / systems) or Physics

Years and area of experience required: 1 year in electrical industry

Technical knowledge: SolidWorks

Soft skills: Working across multinational locations
