Role Overview & Specifications

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Printer/Photocopier Engineer to join our team in Lye, West Midlands. As a Printer/Photocopier Engineer, you will be responsible for providing maintenance, repairs, and technical support for various types of printers and photocopiers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on printers and photocopiers, including diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Install, configure, and network printers and photocopiers.
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or on-site visits, and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Conduct product training and demonstrations for customers to help them effectively use and troubleshoot their printers and photocopiers.
  • Keep accurate records of all service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in printer and photocopier technology and acquire necessary certifications as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Printer/Photocopier Engineer with expertise in repairing and maintaining printers and photocopiers.
  • Strong technical skills in troubleshooting and repairing printers and photocopiers, including both hardware and software components.
  • Knowledge of various printer and photocopier brands and models, such as HP, Canon, Xerox, Ricoh, etc.
  • Familiarity with networking and connectivity of printers and photocopiers.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, and manage workload effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
