What will my role look like?



We are looking for an experienced Electrician to work as part of our highly skilled and well-established Cooplands bakery team!



As an Electrician you are an essential asset to our bakery and your dedicated support contributes towards the efficiency, development and progress of production which we pride ourselves on. You will be required to travel across different sites to help ensure that our equipment and machinery is continuously operating smoothly and meets customer demands.



This is a full-time role Monday-Friday which covers our Cooplands estate across Scarborough, Lincolnshire and Northumberland.



Role Duties:

• This is a varied role which consists of diagnosing & correcting issues, installing, maintaining, repairing and replacing electrical wiring & fixtures, troubleshooting electrical issues, repairing and maintaining catering equipment within stores


• Work effectively and safely in line with food safety, health & safety and hygiene regulations


• Managing your own time and working remotely


• Other non-electrical maintenance if required when on site

This list is not exhaustive and may be added to or amended from time to time.



Candidate Requirements



City & Guilds level 2 and 3

BS7671 to 18th edition is preferred / 17th edition will be accepted and training to 18th can be provided by us

City & Guilds 2391 inspection and testing

Full UK driver’s license

Flexibility with working hours, weekend call outs may be occasionally needed
