We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Junior Financial Analyst. The Junior Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting financial analysis and reporting for our finance company that finances equipment used in construction. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with developing financial models and forecasts
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and patterns
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial statements
  • Conduct research and analysis on industry trends and competitor performance
  • Monitor and track financial performance against budget and forecast
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in finance or accounting preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Self-starter with a high level of initiative and accountability
  • Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting techniques
