As our Finance Assistant, you’ll be supporting the Financial Accountant with the processing of purchase orders, and invoices and managing supplier accounts primarily related to property. With the ongoing expansion of Everyman across the UK, you’ll play an essential role by facilitating smooth financial processes.
The position is a hybrid role based at our Head Office in Hampstead, North London, as well as the ability to work from home.
As our Finance Assistant, your day-to-day will consist of;
- Accounts Payable – ownership of purchase order process for all property-related expenses
- Monthly reconciliation of property supplier accounts
- Accounts receivable – raise and post sublease invoices
- Assisting preparation of payment runs
- Assisting in creating accounts for new customers/suppliers
- Being the first point of contact for property invoicing queries
- Posting journals
- Assisting with audit preparation
- Support with month-end routines and reporting (accruals/prepayments)
- Assisting with year-end and half-year financials
- Other ad-hoc projects as needed
HERE’S LOOKING AT YOU KID.
To be our perfect Finance Assistant you’ll need;
- Experience in a similar role from a “multi-site” industry, such as Hospitality, Retail or Leisure.
- Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot tables, V Lookups etc)
- Excellent organisational skills and first-class attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and able to communicate clearly with non-finance stakeholders
- Be highly motivated with a collaborative work ethic
- Experience with Microsoft D365 is beneficial but not essential
- Understanding of Accruals / Prepayments
- Experience in system implementation (desired not essential)
