Security Officer

Job Summary:

Fahrenheit Security Ltd is currently recruiting for a break cover security officer to work in the area of Soho, Central London. The job is for 5 days per week (Monday to Friday) at roughly 10 hours per day at £12 per hour* Candidates will require a valid frontline SIA DS or Static Guarding License.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have great presentation and be capable of working in a corporate building and fashion retail environments. The nature of this role demands the officer to be an excellent communicator utilising customer service and loss prevention skills.

Your duties will include:

• 
  Being punctual, reliable and able to work at various high end locations in Soho
• 
  Front of House meet and greet
• 
  Building Security
• 
  Theft prevention
• 
  Incident response and reporting

Rate:

• 
  £12.00 per hour @ 10hrs per day.
• 
  Lunch breaks are paid
• 
  Up to 5 days per week available

• 
  Excellent appearance (black well fitted suit, white shirt, black clean smart shoes)
• 
  Reliable and punctual
• 
  Proficient in written and oral English language.
• 
  Committed to providing a first rate customer service experience
• 
  Respects values and considers the opinions and circumstances of others
• 
  Has strong work ethics, honesty and integrity
• 
  Previous retail experience is desired

  Current Frontline DS SIA licence
• 
  Verifiable employment history in accordance with BS 7858:2012
• 
  Right to work in the UK

  Ability to work on your own and be part of a team

  Strong verbal communication skills
• 
  Good written communication skills

Previous experience within the security, preferably with loss prevention knowledge and in a front of house environment
