Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:

As part of a key internal support function, you’ll be promoting a helpful and professional service to all of our stakeholders, and actively providing support to all of our people and guests requiring assistance

Professionally handling all Security, Fire Safety, and day-to-day contractor management matters; conducting proactive visible patrols around the hotel and across our estate

You'll ensure that our policies and all legislation are always adhered to and assist in the management and maintenance of the estate’s security and safety systems

Undertaking bi-monthly compliance audits in your area of responsibility ensuring the highest level of detail and accurate record keeping

Assisting in the development and implementation of effective security measures and instructions, including contingency plans, ensuring the tightest security is maintained; you'll be responding swiftly and professionally to any incidents and liaising with our Management team and the emergency services

Conducting investigations across our estate, including planning investigative interviews, and compiling factually accurate and detailed incident reports

Ensuring the compliance of our Fleet Management including the review of our authorised drivers licensing as well as the insurance and maintenance of our fleet of vehicles

Supporting the continual review and update of all Security SOPs and records, reducing loss and identifying countermeasures and mitigations; continually developing suggestions to increase our quality of service

Working collaboratively with our People Team to create and manage onboarding Security administration and access

Collaborating with other service providers and the local community including the Police and Fire Service you'll both represent and protect the reputation of the business externally

Ensuring all relevant legislation is adhered to including General Data Protection regulations (GDPR) including the consistent and accurate record keeping of all relevant documentation and data in line with Security and Hotel policies

Assisting in making sure all working practices, undertaken by both our own people and third parties, are conducted safely, working closely with our Risk & Environment Manager to ensure all procedures meet and comply with relevant legislation and regulatory standards

Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way



The kind of person we're looking for:

An engaging team player, you take huge pride in being diligent, systematic and your organisational and interpersonal skills are outstanding; you also have strong IT skills

You hold a full UK driving license, a valid First Aid certification (training can also be provided) and you have a strong level of I.T. literacy and report writing skill

Collaborating with others comes naturally to you, you know that it is the sum of the parts that will reap the greatest reward; you possess a strong drive to support and help others and have no room for ego

Internally, you build relationships on trust and by truly understanding what your stakeholders need, always fulfilling your promises; externally, you build relationships through transparency and openness

Gratuities (tips) and service charge (an additional charge added to our room rates and services across the estate that is passed directly to our employees) are paid on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role

It is estimated that in 2023, our full-time employees can expect to receive around £3,500 in addition to their annual salary
