Working Hours:

This role is based on our night shift pattern;

Sunday 22:00 to 06:05

Monday to Thursday 21:50 to 06:05

41 hours per week Sunday to Thursday

Our mix that awaits you:

• Installation/Maintenance of machinery/equipment in accordance with Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, IEE 18th Edition Electrical Regulations, The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 plus any other specific standard deemed appropriate to task being undertaken
• To follow set procedures for permit to work, job recording, fire alarm muting, Health & Safety and Hygiene set systems of work
• Programming/diagnostics monitoring of PLC controlled systems
• To maintain all machinery to the standard expected within a food environment
• The continuous improvement of all production/packaging machinery
• Preventative maintenance and breakdown maintenance
• The construction and installation of electrical control panels and systems
• Fault diagnostics and repair of existing systems/equipment
• Maintaining electrical services throughout the factory and offices
• Understanding and complying with the requirements of the Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and the Environmental Permit to the extent it affects your role

Ingredients that you bring with you:

• 
  Previous installation and commissioning work experience – essential
• 
  Extensive PLC experience – highly desirable
• 
  Breakdown and fault-finding experience – desirable
• 
  Fully completed Apprenticeship – essential
• 
  Multi-skilled – desirable
• 
  Previous food manufacturing experience – preferred
• 
  Qualified to IEE 18th Edition Electrical Regulations
