The Role:
Joining our expanding, friendly and supportive Lexcel accredited in-house legal team, as a Legal Assistant within the Highways Litigation and Insurance Team, you will need to be a Associate Legal Executive or equivalent.
This role will require you to take responsibility for a high volume caseload of damage only and low value personal injury claims predominantly for Hampshire County Councilβs Highways, Engineering and Transport department, as Highway Authority. Most cases fall within the small claims limit.
We are looking for an in-house lawyer who is able to demonstrate: good legal skills and judgment; a pragmatic solution focused approach; strong client relationship and communication skills; an ability to work in a team with a collaborative approach; you will be extremely resilient and motivated with an ability to prioritise effectively and to work independently to meet strict deadlines.
