The successful applicant will assist in all aspects of the application of quality assurance, energy management and environmental control procedures.

Hours of work are 6.00am to 6.00pm on a 5 on 5 off, 5 on 5 off, 4 on 4 off rotating 12 hour shift pattern.

• 
  Kiln and Dryer Monitoring, kiln burner set up, repair and alarm response when required
• 
  Carry out functional QA, Environmental and Energy tasks
• 
  Product and Raw Material delivery acceptance, testing and analysis
• 
  Driving a culture of process improvement, monitoring quality and Health and Safety awareness
• 
  Appling IMS tools and techniques to generate improvements within the department and factory as a whole
• 
  Recording and documenting results
• 
  Training and monitoring the application of process checks throughout the factory
• 
  Use 5S techniques to maintain and improve housekeeping
