Intacept Security are an SIA Approved Contractor seeking a Security Officer (SIA Licenced) to cover security on our customer site located in Bourn, Cambridge. A flexible approach is required and additional hours available as and when required.
Hours: 1800 - 0600 hours (shift pattern 4 on 4 off)
Duties include, but are not limited to:
ο Provide a professional security presence
ο Act as a deterrent to protect customers, property and staff
ο Duties as specified within Assignment Instructions
ο Access / egress control
ο Conduct internal and external patrols, temperature checks, unlocks and locks
ο Follow emergency procedures and liaise with emergency services as required
ο Completion of reports and paperwork in accordance with Assignment Instructions
ο Answer telephone
ο Some computer work and admin duties
ο Abide with Health & Safety regulations
Requirements for the role:-
ο A valid SIA Licence
ο Excellent written and communication skills
ο Be computer literate
ο Organised with the ability to work on own initiative
ο Follow Assignment Instructions and carry out duties as required by the Customer
