Post Office Counter Clerk - Part time

We are looking for a part time Post Office Counter Clerk (2- 4 shifts per week) for our instore post office counter in our new Kenny's Foodfare, Kilrea

• To communicate with customers in a polite and professional manner to ensure they have a pleasant experience
• Listen to customer queries/requests and process in a timely manner
• Handle all cash and money transactions in an accurate and confidential way
• Carry out a range of Post Office services including
• - processing letters and parcels;
• - pension and benefits transactions;
• - banking, MoneyGram and bill payments
• - car tax and DVLA forms
• - travel insurance and foreign currency
• Maintain an accurate stock and cash balance at the end of each shift
• Work as part of a team to provide an efficient Post Office service

- A high degree of accuracy in their work

- The ability to work under pressure in a busy customer service environment

- Previous experience in handling cash /financial transactions

- Excellent customer service and ability to go the extra mile for our customers

- Honesty and integrity

Previous post office/financial or banking experience is desirable, but not essential as full training will be given

- 2 to 4 shifts per week on a rota basis

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 - 30 per week
