Warehouse Operative - Rotating Shifts

We are currently recruiting for Multi skilled FLT Counterbalance & Reach Truck Drivers to join our facility located in Bristol.

Working hours are 0600/1400 - 1400/2200 Monday to Friday

Hourly Rate: PS12.56 plus a weekly shift allowanceThe role

In this role you will complete varied tasks which include:

• 
  Loading and unloading materials on and off pallets using lifting devices
• 
  Pick and put away items using a forklift reach truck
• 
  Operate counterbalance when required
• 
  Get a lot of exercise spending time on your feet; and walking around our warehouse; the job is quiet physical, and you will need to lift items such as boxes of food
• 
  You will do this in a cold environment - approximately minus 25 Celsius - just like working in the freezer; but we provide full PPE including coats, hats, and boots - remove to ambient
• 
  Communicate with other team members on headsets
• 
  Pack, seal, and label materials/pallets
• 
  Other general warehouse duties to support the wider team when required
• 
  We are working in a safety conscious environment, and you will need to always follow safety procedures

• 
  Valid Reach truck licence/certificate holder, in house is accepted with greater experience, or with general warehouse experience full training can be provided
• 
  Valid Counterbalance Preferred but NOT essential as full training can be provided
• 
  Have a strong eye with attention to detail
• 
  Good numeracy and literacy skills
• 
  Ability to lift to 18kg (that's about 10 bags of sugar)
• 
  Ability to work night shifts
• 
  Warehouse logistics experience
