About The Role
Tasks to include:
Support development of software through the development lifecycle according to relevant engineering processes
Analysing software requirements to convert into test objectives
Developing test scenarios and environments, creating, and debugging test scripts
Configuring test rigs and using them to run through test scenarios (manual & automated)
Manage defect tracking and investigate issues arising in the field or during testing
Provide estimates for testing and contribute to production of progress metrics
Produce the required documentation for system testers (reports, test user guides etc).
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to support requirements capture, ensuring an integrated approach to meet cost and schedule targets.
Any additional Programme related tasks assigned that are within area of expertise, competence, and skill set.
The role will not be authorized to provide services to Lockheed Martin, which are directly related to business development, acquisition, or sales efforts for a Lockheed Martin customer or potential customer. Any exception to this rule can only be granted, in advance, by the Lockheed Martin UK Ltd, Integrated Systems, Havant representative or legal counsel representative.
Contractor/Agency to be responsible for maintaining certifications, accreditations, adequate professional indemnity insurance and training required to perform their role

Experience working within an Agile life cycle (Sprints, Retrospectives, Stand-ups etc)
Experience in Manual and Automated testing approaches
Experience of Real-Time Embedded Systems
Experience interpreting UML designs
Desired skills and experience
Experience of Airborne Mission Systems, Ground/Air-based Training Systems
Familiarity with Incremental and V-model development approaches.
Familiarity with some of the following development toolsets:
(PTC Modeller, VxWorks, Artisan Studio, Green Hills, Enterprise Architect, Visual Studio)
Experience using some of the following toolsets:
(with Jira, Quality Centre, Confluence)
Experience of coding using a recognised language (e.g., C#, C/C++, Java, Python), for scripting and to assist in SW design when needed
