Accountant (Practice)
Our client, a locally owned Accountancy Practice are in search of an experienced Accountant (Practice) to join their team.
Main Responsibilities:- Advising on business transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions
- Advising clients on areas of business improvement, or dealing with insolvency
- Financial advice
- Management of financial systems and budgets
- Complete VAT Returns
- Advising on tax planning
- Performing tests to check financial information and systems
- Maintaining records, preparing accounts and management information
- Detecting and preventing fraud (forensic accounting)
- Managing junior colleagues and trainees
· A relevant accounting qualification or similar with a minimum of 1 year’s post qualification experience
· Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as accounting and accounts preparation software
· High level of numeracy skill
· Ability to manage workload
· Strong communication skills both written and verbal
