MESHLE GmbH is looking for a hands-on technical product tester to support our development team with testing connected hardware and software products.
The main focus of this role is testing: trying out new products and features, finding problems, reproducing bugs and making sure hardware and software work reliably together.
Tasks
- Test our hardware products and mobile app
- Test new features and firmware releases
- Reproduce and document bugs and technical issues
- Set up devices and test environments
- Perform basic hardware modifications, wiring and soldering when needed
- Support developers by verifying fixes and new functionality
- Prepare hardware for internal tests, demonstrations and customer projects
Requirements
- Ideally, vocational training or practical experience in electrical engineering, electronics or a related technical field
- Good practical understanding of electrical and electronic hardware
- Strong interest in software, apps and connected devices
- You enjoy understanding how things work and finding out why something does not work
- Basic programming knowledge or self-taught programming experience is a plus
- Comfortable with soldering and practical hardware work
- Structured and reliable working style
- Good English skills
