The role
Weβre looking for a number of Team Leaders within our Warehouse to join our Logistics team!
Shift pattern: 4 days on 4 days off. Your working hours will be 2pm β 1:30am.
Location: Our Logistics hub is located in Shaw, Oldham. It can be easily accessed via Tram which is a just few minutes walk away and we also offer free car parking for anyone who wishes to drive to the site.
As a Team Leader for N Brown youβll work to effectively manage operational processes, resource and colleagues within our Logistics operation. Youβll provide an excellent customer experience for all of our internal and external customers within agreed objectives and SLAβs and youβll drive change through a continuous improvement culture. Weβre looking for people that are passionate about leading people and youβll be a role model for our core behaviours and be a true advocate for our culture!

What will you do as a Team Leader at N Brown?
- Youβll lead ,support, motivate, train and develop the Logistics Operational colleagues in your team to ensure our Logistics Operational objectives are met.
- Youβll accurately log colleague time and attendance and youβll ensure all colleagues absence is managed in line with N Brown policy.
- Youβll make sure that delivery of all Health & Safety (including all current COVID) measures and housekeeping requirements are maintained and youβll ensure there is a safe and clean environment for all colleagues and visitors on the Logistics sites.
- Youβll work to achieve production and compliance targets and SLAβs whilst making sure that we are using the most cost effective use of resource and services. Youβll also respond to adjustments in production plans and assign resource where needed.
- Youβll deliver the departmental budgets through effective manpower, planning and performance management. Youβll review performance and quality for your area of responsibility and provide weekly cost analysis. Youβll also review and respond to direction to investigate trends in MI.
- Youβll be flexible with start/finish times of shift in order to plan the day and provide accurate details for handovers for colleagues and be open to support business needs with flexibility of overtime when required.
- Youβll be multiskilled to manage several departments outside of your main department.
- Youβll identify process improvements and support implementation through the use of lean six sigma methodology to ensure the logistics operation is efficient and flexible to meet our customer demands.
