Main Responsibilities

  • Process pay employee data (new hires, pay changes, employee changes).

  • Review and balance payrolls before and after they have been processed. Validate confirmed reports.

  • Provide post payroll reconciliation analysis on any discrepancies

  • Experience in working on Payroll parallel runs

  • Perform initial analysis and advice on Payroll reconciliation differences between new system and legacy system

  • Oversee and audit the daily operations of the Payroll; research, evaluate and ensure that payroll issues and discrepancies are resolved in a proper and timely manner;

  • Participate in complex payroll support functions; calculate, review, verify and post a variety of complex payroll data such as gross pay, retirement, contract adjustments, retroactive payments, hours, tax information and leave; balance, reconcile and submit payrolls for check processing;

  • Research, analyze and resolve payroll related problems or questions by collecting and analyzing information

  • Participate in the preparation and maintenance of records and reports related to payroll, employee information, time sheets, benefits, salaries, leave, taxes, deductions, payments and other assigned duties; review, evaluate and audit payroll, health benefit changes and related financial and statistical data, records and reports;

  • Prepare or assist in the preparation of periodic/special reports for HMRC and other units of the Company as required

  • Process pay changes, tax changes, direct deposit changes

  • Process accurately employee pay for items including special payments and retro payments

  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transaction will be processed accurately and timely

Essential Criteria


  • Educated to GCSE standards

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role

  • Competent user of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel Powerpoint

  • High attention to accuracy and detail

  • Team player

  • Ability to work to challenging and tight deadlines

  • Problem solving skills

  • Ability to work methodically, logically and tidily

  • Respect for confidential information
