We have an opportunity

to join our Facilities Management team working for NYC as a Mobile

Cleaning Supervisor. This is an operational position and you will be carrying

out daily cleaning and caretaking duties including the opening and closing of

buildings, cleaning and minor repairs. You will be working under the

supervision of an Area Manager. Travelling in the Scarborough, Whitby, Ryedale

and York areas, you will visit multiple sites mornings and evenings as

required, providing cleaning and caretaking cover in the absence of Caretaker,

Cleaning Assistant or site supervisors.



Duties will include:




Open/locking buildings



  • Minor

repairs




Keeping outside areas clean and safe



  • All

aspects of cleaning including Sanitary cleaning, vacuuming and mopping




Holiday cleaning including scrubbing/polishing floors











You will be

self-motivated and be capable of working under your own supervision. You

will at times be supervising other mobile cleaners to insure sites are cleaned

to the required standard. Part of your

job role includes supervising cleaning staff working at various locations

throughout the area including schools, offices and libraries in the absence of

supervisors.



This is a varied role where we

would provide you with the vehicle with no fuel or running costs, a competitive

hourly rate, which is applied from when you leave home to when you return at

the end of your shift, as well as 28 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, excellent

including green car scheme, childcare vouchers and home technology scheme.



A full driving licence is

essential and working a minimum of 30 hours per week regular overtime is

usually available. Willingness and ability to work flexible hours to meet

service requirements is a key part of the role. Full training will be provided

AND there is no weekend work.









The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking

and passionate about providing excellent service and for this you will be paid

£10.90 - £11.39 per hour.





This post requires an Enhanced DBS,
