Sheet-metal Assembly Operative

Salary: 22-24k
Benefits:
Monthly bonus of 10% based on company sales targets
Quarterly profit share bonus
Additional 5 days of holiday allowance (25 days in total) plus public holidays

Location: Selhurst, London

My client is an award-winning manufacturer of cable management solutions, they are seeking a skilled Sheet-metal Assembly Operative to join their small but highly skilled production team. This is a new role within our company, offering an excellent opportunity for career growth in the metal fabrication and manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

Fabricate and assemble metal floor-boxes and cable management products

Utilize various sheet metal and fabrication techniques, including measuring using a vernier, spot welding, drilling, bandsaw, notching, polishing, cleaning, linishing, guillotine, flypress, and manual tooling

Ensure a safe and clean working environment

Collaborate closely with your team, supervisor, and address any issues proactively

Requirements:

1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing and metal fabrication environment

Prior experience in the building products sector preferred

Professional, well-organized, and proactive team player

Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8am-4.30pm; Friday: 8am-3.30pm

No weekend work required
