£27.26 per hour

Monday to Friday

Are you a Saw Operator looking for a genuine long term career opportunity? My client is a stockist of an extensive range of metals around the UK, offering a permanent position in their Bolton branch for Saw Operator with some experience, this may be with wood or metal.
They are a long-established business with excellent rates of pay and working conditions. They can offer training for the successful Saw Operator.
Ideally you will have some previous experience within the metal industry with operating an FLT (Ideally counterbalance or reach) and be available to start work immediately!

Shifts will be rotating.
6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm

Key duties:

Setting a barsaw

Ability to read drawings

Cutting materials to correct sizing

Moving materials around the warehouse using both reach and a counterbalance

General housekeeping of the workshop

Adhering to health and safety policies

Any ad hoc duties deemed fit by your manager

Requirements

FLT Licence or experience on Reach or Counterbalance

Previous saw operating

Good communication

Working effectively in a team or individually
