Job Title: Travel and Tourism Analyst (12-month Fixed Term Contract)
Location: Birmingham City Centre, UK (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £40k-£43K
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Travel and Tourism Analyst to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to promote Birmingham as a vibrant and exciting destination for tourists and visitors.
Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract visitors to Birmingham.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, including local businesses, tourism boards, and government agencies.
• Monitor and analyse visitor trends, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Manage budgets and resources to achieve targets and objectives.
• Lead and motivate a team of professionals to ensure high standards of performance and delivery.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with the media and other external organisations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a senior management role within the visitor economy industry.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the visitor economy industry, including tourism, hospitality, and events.
• Experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others, build and maintain effective relationships, and achieve results through teamwork.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decision making.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
