Trainee CAD technician

Job Description

QS Recruitment are excited to advertise for a fantastic new role for our long-standing clients in the Alfreton Area.
Your role would be to take detail form CAD drawings and input data into excel and other internal software platforms. Programming of CNC equipment (PAP & Drill machines) will be required to ensure efficient and effective running of the production operation.

Alongside this main duty, you will be creating sales orders, quotes and checking stocks of particular products, alongside dealing with customers online and via the telephone.
Other various office duties will be required, to maintain the smooth running of the operation.

Hourly Rate: The hourly rate for this role is £10.94 per hour – equating to £22,755 per year

Working Hours: The role is Monday to Friday 07:00 to 15:30 (40 hours per week)

Experience & Qualifications

For this role, we will expect candidates to have the below experience/qualifications:
– A good level of English and Maths education
– Experience using Microsoft software and internal computer systems
– To be confident on the phone
– Experience with CAD is preferable
