RAN (Radio Access Network) Test Manager

Requirements

Good communication skills working with external customers

Experienced test manager with proven track record of delivery

Being able to assess project requirements, experience with putting together a test plan and translate requirements into test cases

Technical requirement analysis, test planning, test execution, test report

Ability to process test data and prepare detailed report

Ability to do risk analysis and risk mitigation

2G, 3G, 4G/LTE RAN and VoLTE testing

Solid working knowledge of 4G Radio Access Network technology including parameterisation and optimisation management

Extensive recent experience in LTE system integration, testing and troubleshooting (system logs, OS logs, UE logs, network logs, etc.)

RAN Integration knowledge and experience and proven track history

Strong end-to-end RAN knowledge with focus on 4G

RAN Technologies (vRAN, Small Cells, MIMO, Timing and Sync with GPS, PTP)

Understanding of Networking Protocols like IP, TCP, SCTP, IPSEC

Understanding of 3GPP standards, including procedures, call flows, KPI, statistics

Good understanding of Layer 2 & 3 messages, RRC/RLC Layers.

Analysing and diagnosing main RF Issues like Dropped calls, Blocked calls, Poor coverage, Handover Failures, Interference, RACH failures etc

Good experience in analysing the Core Network elements issues like SGSN, GGSN, MSC, Media Gateway, MME, SGW, PGW
