HSE MANAGER – Manchester – 45k

A great opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Manager to join a food manufacture in Greater Manchester.

Reporting directly to the Operations Director.

The Role.

• Driving H&S Performance with a hands-on approach.
• Organise internal and external reporting requirements, ensure all legislation is up to date, compliance is consistently followed and monitor on site performance set against key performances indicators.
• Manage, lead, and organise the audit requirements.
• Develop and implement Behavioural Safety/ Environmental Awareness culture development activities across all functions to support keeping people healthy and safe

The Candidate.

• Ideally you will have a food manufacturing background however this is not essential to this position
• NEBOSH Diploma. Certificate will suffice with a view to achieve diploma later.
• IEMA certificate in Environmental Management, preferably NEBOSH/NCRQ level 6.
• Proactive and passionate approach to HSE matters.
