Job description

We have an excellent opportunity to join the Traffic and Transportation team as a Senior Traffic Engineer.

You will be leading a small but ambitious team which will be responsible for the development and assessment of road traffic safety schemes, which support the council's transport objectives. You will oversee these schemes from conceptual design, through the project cycle to site installation.

You will provide professional and technical advice on traffic manangement and road safety matters, often briefing Councillors. You will check output produced by more junior staff in terms of reports and drawings.
