The Role:

Geospatial Analyst



The Team:

The team consists of 5 Cartographers covering 8 Regions, these regions are split between the Cartographers. (Australasia, Middle East 1 & 2, Europe 1,2,3, Far East 1,2,3, Frontier North America, Latin America 1 & 2, Saharan Africa & Sub-Saharan Africa)



The Impact:

We are looking for a Cartographer to join our Geospatial team to create and update GEPS Maps (oil and gas activity maps) on a monthly basis, working to tight publishing deadlines.

Responsibilities

Areas of focus include:

Updating between 6 to 8 maps per month within a given region (you may manage multiple regions)

Assist other team members as required

Work with colleagues around the world to ensure accuracy of the map data



What We’re Looking For:

An interest in maps coupled with a desire to learn more about the Geospatial area

School/college studies in GIS, Sciences and or Geography preferred

Proficient in ArcGIS or other GIS software packages or a good understanding is advantageous

Motivated by learning new skills, experience, and knowledge

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Collaborative approach and able to work effectively with local and international colleagues

Can work both independently and within a team structure

Experience in successfully working to deadlines

Strong organisational and prioritisation skills

Strong attention to detail

Strong IT skills
