What you’ll be doing
As one of our Merchandisers you’ll translate and execute the category strategy for a given product range/series to deliver profitable growth and own the delivery of agreed KPIs. The role will also see you planning and delivering product ranges and agreed stock parameters to Sainsbury’s channels, building relationships with key senior level internal and external stakeholders every step of the way.
In addition, you’ll support the Senior Merchandiser and help a team of Assistant Merchandisers and Merchandise Admin Assistants perform at their best each day. You’ll always have your focus on the customer, and you’ll encourage them to do the same.
Who you are
You’ll bring us Merchandising experience and a good understanding of commercial issues. You will be familiar with merchandising and planning systems, and with replenishment systems, and you’ll thrive when the pressure’s on. Your influencing skills will also be key to building relationships around and outside the business, while your drive, motivation and initiative will be clear from day one.
