Job description
The Ecommerce Hub General Manager is a new leadership role, responsible for leading and driving the successful operation and growth of Scope’s new Ecommerce Hub. The role will ensure both the ecommerce and warehouse sides of the operation work seamlessly together by leading through the two site managers. With the aim of maximising income and profitability for the charity, whilst ensuring compliance.

Full job description
The role
- Lead and motivate a large team of diverse colleagues, all based at the Ecommerce Hub, to achieve maximum productivity and engagement. And deliver a consistently great colleague and customer experience.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations in the Hub, assigning weekly performance goals/ KPIs, and ensuring their completion.
- Standardise processes throughout the operation.
- Overall accountability for the security of colleagues, stock, and equipment at the site.
- Ensure best in class health and safety is maintained on site.
- You will have the ability to lead diverse teams. We are looking for someone who can motivate, engage, develop, and improve performance through great leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships and collaborate with teams from across the charity is important too.
- You will be results driven and commercially minded. With a strong understanding of the customer journey.
- Proven experience in an operations/ general management role. As well as experience of simplifying processes and driving efficiencies is essential.
- The ability to work flexibly to align with the operating patterns of the Hub, including some weekend, late night, early morning, and bank holiday working (not on a rota/ shift-basis).
