PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE (STARLINK/AKOUSTIS)Β
Akoustis is nowΒ operatingΒ as a wholly owned subsidiary of SpaceX providing industry leading RF filters using patented XBAW technology to help drive the mission of making human life multi-planetary, while also connecting the world through Starlink. Our work helps further the impact that Starlink is already making on millions of users around the world, while allowing us to broaden that reach dramatically and continue connecting the unconnected here on earth.Β
This production associate position supports RF filter production for SpaceXβs Starlink satellite internet constellation and growing defense communications portfolio. You will operate and monitors complex equipment to fabricate high quality devices in a cleanroom environment.Β
RESPONSIBILITIES:Β Β
- Operate process equipmentΒ to fabricate andΒ characterizeΒ devicesΒ
- Follow work instructions detailed in Manufacturing Execution System (MES)Β
- DocumentΒ productionΒ andΒ statistical process controlΒ dataΒ
- EnsureΒ safety and qualityΒ protocols are followedΒ
- CommunicateΒ issues and suggest improvementsΒ to lead or supervisorΒ
- Cross train across multiple tool setsΒ
- UnderstandΒ workflowΒ throughΒ work centerΒ
- UnderstandΒ tool operation and error messages
- Keep a clean, organized, and thoroughly maintained workspace
- Put safety as number one priority
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Β
- High school diploma or equivalency certificateΒ
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Β
- Associateβs degreeΒ in technical disciplineΒ
- Experience working in an electro-mechanical manufacturing company, a precision manufacturing company, or high-volume manufacturing companyΒ
- Experience with wafer/semiconductor handlingΒ
- AbilityΒ to read, interpret, and work from drawings and controlled documentationΒ such as:Β layout drawings, mechanical drawings, assembly procedures/work instructions, schematics, engineering drawings, and parts listsΒ
- AbilityΒ to proficiently use a PC, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office suiteΒ
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentΒ

Production Associate Level I: $22.00/hour Β Β
