Job title: Customisation Team – Embroidery Technician

Responsible to: Customisation Manager

Location: Charles Industrial Estate, Stowmarket, IP14 5AH

Purpose of the job:

To provide support in the efficient, profitable, and smooth running of the company – both within the guidelines of this Job Description but to also refine and improve the processes, as necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. To action all embroidery on items, to include hooping, machine setting and trimming and ensure this is always to a high standard. Ensuring that any consumables shortage is reported to the Customisation Manager.

2. Action regular maintenance of the embroidery machines, keeping maintenance records up to date and replenishment of materials.

3. To action all heat sealing on items, to include cutting, picking, and printing and ensure this is always to a high standard. Ensuring that any consumables shortage is reported to the Customisation Manager.

4. Accept deliveries, locate delivery paperwork and file, accordingly, confirm that items delivered, delivery note, and original order all correspond in the absence of the
Customisation Manager.

5. To liaise with Customisation Manager about any discrepancies with orders.

6. Ensure the correct paperwork accompanies all orders that are being customised.

7. To pack customer orders once complete, fold neatly and package as required and ensure the relevant paperwork is included and box/post bags.

8. Complete online courier collection and ensure correct customer details are submitted.

9. Assist in the picking and processing of online orders.

10. Use of the following software packages as applicable:
Corel Draw, Wilcom, In-house Order System, E-mail, Word, Excel, and any others as applicable.

11. Serve customers that are collecting orders following the correct internal procedure in doing so.

12. Answer the telephone as required, ensuring that each call is dealt with politely and efficiently. Take messages as applicable for colleagues.

13. Keep the customisation area tidy as required and to empty all office bins into the business wheelie bins on a regular basis.

14. Build strong, trusting relationships with all suppliers and customers and to ensure the systems and processes that the company uses to conduct its business are constantly evaluated and refined to maximize performance.

15. Other duties as required which may include working overtime.
